User Agreement

Between Employers and Job Seekers Using Zues Hire


This User Agreement (“Agreement”) sets out the terms between Employers, Job Seekers, and Zues Hire (the “Platform”).
By using the Platform, you agree to be legally bound by this Agreement.


1. Definitions

Platform – Zues Hire, including website and services.

Job Seeker / Employee – Any person using the Platform to obtain work.

Employer – Any person or entity using the Platform to hire staff.

User – All individuals using the Platform.

 

2. Nature of the Platform

2.1 Zues Hire provides an online platform that connects Employers and Job Seekers.
2.2 Zues Hire does not employ Job Seekers directly.
2.3 Zues Hire is not a labour broker, recruitment agent, or employer of record.
2.4 All agreements between Employer and Job Seeker are independent of Zues Hire.


3. Responsibilities of Employers

Employers agree to:

3.1 Provide accurate and lawful job information.
3.2 Offer safe, legal and non-discriminatory working conditions.
3.3 Pay Job Seekers what was agreed, on time.
3.4 Not request illegal documents or exploitative demands.
3.5 Not charge Job Seekers for employment opportunities (unless legally allowed).
3.6 Comply with relevant employment and labour laws.
3.7 Treat Job Seekers with dignity and respect.

Employers acknowledge that failure to meet obligations may result in:

Suspension of access

Reporting to authorities

Legal consequences

 

4. Responsibilities of Job Seekers

Job Seekers agree to:

4.1 Provide truthful, accurate, and complete information.
4.2 Attend scheduled interviews or jobs unless reasonable notice is given.
4.3 Perform work honestly and responsibly.
4.4 Not misrepresent qualifications, work rights, or identity.
4.5 Respect employers, households, property, and confidentiality.

Job Seekers acknowledge that failure to meet obligations may result in:

Suspension of access

Loss of opportunities

Possible legal action

 

5. Payments, Fees & Commission

5.1 Employers may pay fees for posting jobs or using services.
5.2 Job Seekers may be charged a registration fee (if applicable).
5.3 Zues Hire may charge commission on successful placements.
5.4 Fees are displayed on the Platform and may change.

Zues Hire is not responsible for wage disputes between Employer and Job Seeker.


6. Matching & Communication

6.1 The Platform provides tools to match Employers and Job Seekers.
6.2 Matches are not guaranteed.
6.3 Users agree to communicate professionally and respectfully.
6.4 Users must not harass, threaten, or abuse others.


7. Dispute Resolution Between Users

7.1 Any disputes arising from work arrangements are between Employer and Job Seeker directly.
7.2 Zues Hire may, at its discretion, attempt to mediate.
7.3 Zues Hire is not a party to contractual agreements between Users.


8. Prohibited Behaviour

Users must not:

Post false, misleading or fraudulent information

Engage in discrimination or harassment

Offer illegal or unsafe jobs

Request or provide forged documents

Exploit vulnerable individuals

Demand sexual, violent or abusive conduct (strictly prohibited)


Violations may result in termination and legal action.


9. Verification & Screening

9.1 Zues Hire may conduct identity or background checks, but is not obligated to.
9.2 Zues Hire does not guarantee the accuracy of user information.
9.3 Employers and Job Seekers must perform their own checks where necessary.


10. Indemnity

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zues Hire from any claims, damages, or losses arising from:

Misconduct

Breach of this Agreement

Illegal activity

Employer-job seeker disputes

 

11. Limitation of Liability

Zues Hire is not liable for:

Loss of income or opportunity

Injury or damages

Fraud by Users

Employer misconduct

Job Seeker misconduct

Failure to secure employment


The Platform is provided as-is.


12. Termination of Access

Zues Hire may suspend or terminate accounts without notice if Users:

Violate this Agreement

Engage in illegal or abusive conduct

Misuse the Platform

 

13. Data Protection

Personal data is collected and used in line with the Privacy Policy and POPIA.

Users consent to the sharing of relevant data to facilitate placement.


14. Relationship Between Parties

14.1 No employer-employee relationship exists between Zues Hire and Job Seekers.
14.2 No partnership, agency, or joint venture exists between Zues Hire and Employers.
14.3 Zues Hire is a tech platform facilitating connections only.


15. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of South Africa.
Disputes shall be handled in a South African court of competent jurisdiction.


16. Changes to the Agreement

Zues Hire may change this Agreement at any time.
Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of changes.

ACCEPTANCE

By using the Platform, Employers and Job Seekers confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this User Agreement.
