Cancellation Policy
This Cancellation Policy sets out the rules governing cancellations by Employers, Job Seekers, and Zues Hire (“the Platform”).
By using the Platform, users agree to this Policy.

- Purpose of the Policy
The purpose of this Policy is to:
Provide a clear cancellation process
Set expectations for all users
Minimise misuse of the Platform
Promote fair outcomes for all parties

- Scope of the Policy
This Policy applies to cancellations of:
Job posts
Candidate applications
Service requests
Platform subscriptions (if applicable)
Interviews or scheduled work
Registration or onboarding services
This Policy does not apply to:
Refunds (covered in the Refund Policy)
Employment termination (handled directly between parties)

- Cancellation by Employers
Employers may cancel:
Job posts
Interview requests
Work offers
However:
3.1 Employers must provide reasonable notice to Job Seekers where possible.
3.2 If a job is cancelled after an offer/acceptance, Zues Hire is not responsible for losses suffered by Job Seekers.
3.3 If the Employer repeatedly posts and cancels roles, the Platform may:
Issue a warning
Suspend or restrict usage
Charge additional fees
3.4 Cancellation does not exempt Employers from fees already paid.

- Cancellation by Job Seekers
Job Seekers may cancel:
Job applications
Interview bookings
Work commitments
However, they must:
4.1 Notify Employers with reasonable notice.
4.2 Not misuse the Platform by repeatedly accepting and cancelling roles.
4.3 Failure to attend scheduled interviews or work without notice may result in:
Warning
Account suspension
Limited access to new opportunities
4.4 Cancellation does not entitle Job Seekers to refunds of fees paid.

- Cancellation of Services by the Platform
Zues Hire may cancel or suspend services for:
Non-payment of fees
Misconduct or abuse
Fraudulent activity
Policy violations
Failure to comply with legal requirements
Consequences may include:
Account suspension
Termination
Removal of job posts
Fees already paid are not refundable unless specifically stated in the Refund Policy.

- Cancellation of Subscriptions or Premium Services
(if applicable)
6.1 Users may cancel subscriptions at any time.
6.2 Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing cycle.
6.3 No pro-rated refunds will be issued for unused time.

- Notice Periods
Users are encouraged to give notice as follows:
Job cancellation: minimum 48 hours (where possible)
Interview cancellation: minimum 24 hours
Worker cancellation: minimum 24 hours
These timeframes are guidelines, not legal requirements.

- Failure to Provide Notice
Failure to provide reasonable notice, especially repeatedly, may result in:
Account restrictions
Reduced visibility on the Platform
Suspension or termination
This applies to both Employers and Job Seekers.

- Automatic Cancellation
The Platform may automatically cancel:
Job posts that violate policies
Duplicate or fraudulent posts
Accounts flagged for risk
Inactive job posts after 30–60 days
No refunds will be issued in such cases.

- Employment Relationship Cancellations
Cancellations of work agreements, working hours, salaries, or employment contracts are not governed by this Policy.
Those matters are handled directly between Employer and Job Seeker, subject to:
Labour law
Written agreements
Fair labour practices
Zues Hire is not liable for disputes arising from employment cancellations.

- Misuse of Cancellation Process
Users must not:
Create fake jobs
Accept roles with no intention of working
Harass or punish others through cancellations
Such behaviour may result in:
Warning
Account suspension
Termination

- Communication Requirements
All cancellations should be communicated clearly, including:
Reason for cancellation
Effective date
Any implications
Where possible, communication should be in writing (SMS, email, WhatsApp, etc.)

- No Liability
Zues Hire is not responsible for losses caused by:
Late cancellations
No-shows
Sudden termination of work
Loss of income
Employer or Job Seeker misconduct

- Disputes Arising from Cancellations
Disputes must follow the Dispute Resolution Policy.
The Platform may attempt to mediate but is not obligated to issue decisions.

- Policy Changes
Zues Hire may amend this Policy at any time.
Updates take effect immediately upon posting.
Continued use of the Platform indicates acceptance.

- Governing Law
This Policy is governed by the laws of South Africa, including the Consumer Protection Act, where applicable.
