Refund Policy

This Refund Policy sets out the terms under which Employers and Job Seekers may request refunds for fees paid to Zues Hire (“the Platform”).

 

By using the Platform, you accept this Refund Policy.

 

 

 

  1. Applicability

 

This Policy applies to all paid services including, but not limited to:

 

Registration fees

 

Job posting fees

 

Subscription plans

 

Placement commission fees

 

Verification services

 

Advertising and marketing services

 

 

 

 

  1. General Refund Principle

 

Zues Hire provides digital services and does not offer refunds unless specifically stated in this Policy.

 

Refunds are not given for situations outside the Platform’s control, including:

 

Employer changing their mind

 

Job Seeker changing their mind

 

Cancellations of jobs after agreement between parties

 

Termination of an employee or employment

 

Failure to secure candidates or employment

 

 

 

 

  1. Refund Policy for Employers

 

3.1 Registration Fees (Non-Refundable)

 

Registration fees paid to access the Platform are non-refundable.

 

3.2 Job Posting Fees (Conditional Refund)

 

Refunds may be provided only if:

 

The job post cannot be published due to a Platform technical error

AND

 

Zues Hire fails to correct the issue within 7 business days

 

 

No refund is issued if:

 

The employer posts a job with incorrect data

 

The employer deletes the job post

 

No candidates apply

 

Employer is unhappy with candidates

 

Employer cancels the vacancy

 

 

3.3 Placement Commission (Non-Refundable)

 

Placement commission fees are non-refundable, including when:

 

Candidate resigns

 

Employer terminates employment

 

Employment is short-term

 

Employer disputes performance

 

 

3.4 Subscription / Membership Fees

 

If subscriptions exist, refunds are only granted if:

 

The service was unavailable for more than 10 consecutive days

AND

 

The cause is directly attributed to a Platform failure

 

 

 

 

  1. Refund Policy for Job Seekers

 

4.1 Registration Fees (Non-Refundable)

 

Registration fees paid by Job Seekers are non-refundable, regardless of whether:

 

The user finds employment

 

Employer does not respond

 

Job Seeker stops using the Platform

 

Account is suspended for misconduct

 

 

4.2 Verification / Screening Fees

 

Fees paid for verification, screening, or background checks are non-refundable once processing has started.

 

4.3 Commission or Placement Fees

 

If applicable, once a placement fee is paid, it is non-refundable.

 

This applies even if:

 

Work does not proceed

 

The job is terminated

 

The employer cancels the job

 

Employee resigns

 

 

 

 

  1. Refunds for Technical Failures

 

Refunds may be issued if a paid service cannot be delivered due to a verified technical failure that is caused by the platform, and only when:

 

The user reports the issue within 48 hours

 

The Platform fails to resolve it within 7 business days

 

 

Partial refunds or service credits may apply.

 

 

 

  1. No Guarantee of Employment or Hiring

 

Zues Hire does not guarantee:

 

A job for Job Seekers

 

A candidate for Employers

 

Interview outcomes, reliability or performance

 

 

No refunds are provided for unsuccessful hiring or employment outcomes.

 

 

 

  1. User Misconduct or Breach

 

No refunds are given if access or job posts are suspended due to:

 

Fraud

 

Misconduct

 

Abuse

 

Policy violations

 

 

 

 

  1. Chargebacks and Payment Reversals

 

Users agree not to initiate chargebacks without first contacting Zues Hire.

 

Unlawful chargebacks may result in:

 

Account suspension

 

Debt recovery action

 

Legal action

 

 

 

 

  1. Refund Process

Refund requests are reviewed within 10 business days.

 

Approval is at the sole discretion of Zues Hire.

 

Refunds may be issued as:

 

Bank transfer

 

Store credit

 

Service credit

 

 

 

 

  1. Processing Time

 

Approved refunds may take 7–14 business days to reflect.

 

 

 

  1. Financial Disclaimers

 

Zues Hire is not responsible for financial losses resulting from:

 

Job cancellations

 

Employer or employee misconduct

 

Fraud by third parties

 

Wage disputes

 

Terminations

 

 

 

 

  1. Policy Changes

 

Zues Hire may update this Policy at any time without prior notice.

 

Updates will be posted with a new “Last Updated” date.

 

Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance.

 

 

 

  1. Governing Law

 

This Policy is governed by the laws of South Africa, including the Consumer Protection Act, where applicable.
